11% of Illinoisans have a disability. That’s 1.5 million people in the state, including nearly 300,000 in Chicago.

This group represents a huge untapped asset; a talent pool of motivated workers.

It’s also an overlooked consumer market with significant purchasing power. Companies need to be aware and understand factors in the workplace that impact disability inclusiveness and minimize disability employment discrimination.

The Opportunity Summit is a full-day conference designed for employers, their human resources and talent acquisition teams, and diversity and inclusion professionals.
